Eyeglass Recycling

Lions Clubs International is one of the world’s largest collectors and distributors of used eyeglasses. For decades, the Dunlap Lions Club has participated in this global effort — gathering glasses from our community and channeling them to people who need vision correction but cannot afford it.

How It Works

Donated eyeglasses are collected at drop-off locations throughout Elkhart County, primarily at local eye care offices. Dunlap Lions volunteers regularly pick up the donations, then sort, clean, and prepare them for processing. The glasses are ultimately distributed through Lions international programs to people in developing countries and underserved communities around the world.

How to Donate

If you have used eyeglasses — prescription or non-prescription, any style or age — we can put them to good use. Hearing aids are also accepted.
